The ADS Northern California Chapter was found in 1982. Since then it has grew
in size and diversified in activities to include today approximately 150
families and spread over a geographic region that stretches from Redding, at the
border of California and Oregon to Fresno in the California central valley.
Dedication of ADS NCC members shows repetitively either by driving for three
hours to attend the chapter events, or by their generous donations to the
chapter. Chapter activities vary in type and objectives and are tailored to the
interests of both youth and adults. The Chapter has hosted two ADS Conventions
in 5 years, namely 1997 and 2003.
