The ADS-NCC held its annual Mothers' day picnic on May 2nd, 2004 and enjoyed a long day of fun, games, and good food.


The ADS Northern California Chapter held its annual Adha Party on January 24th, 2004 at the Wyndham Hotel in Pleasanton. The attendance exceeded all expectations and set a new record for attendance at the chapter events. Around 300 adults and kids enjoyed eating, dancing, music and lots of fun. Raffle prizes of a total value of $1500 were distributed in addition to ADS complimentary sweatshirts carrying the ADS and last year convention’s logos. The night also witnessed the re-birth of the American Druze Youth (ADY). Kids enjoyed watching “Finding Nemo” and “Harry Potter” and had a lot of fun with a balloon artist.

The newly elected ADS Northern California Chapter committee organized its first picnic on September 21, 2003 at Vasona Park, San Jose. About 120 persons drove from as far as Sacramento, Modesto and Fresno to the picnic site. Everybody had a great time. We played Volleyball, listened to Arabic Music, and socialized with friends. Kids played Pinata and water race. Below are few pictures
