A Prayer for Humanity

Oh God!

Remove Sectarianism from the souls of men and women.

Enlighten their minds and hearts through their faith in You.

Be with them in their moments of crisis.

Help them overcome their sins and grant them Your forgiveness.

Enable them to move closer to Your Commandments.

Restore security to their souls and clarity to their consciences.

Teach them that true religion is in attaining Your grace;

Treason is in disobeying You.

Remind them that You are the God of all people;

That You do not discriminate among true believers

And that the only true religion is faith in Your Wholeness.

Oh God!

Guide them to follow the straight path. Straighten their thinking,

And channel their energy away from politics and toward spirituality.

Forgive them for their crimes and accept their repentance in order

to unify their hearts and thinking.

Remind them that the churches, mosques, and other worship places are

but means to enter your presence.
